In response to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-demand Insaf’s for the Long March on May 25, Punjab and Islamabad implemented section 144 on Tuesday.
“We are imposing section 144 in Punjab,” said Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Attaullah Tarar at a press briefing.
According to Atta, Imran Khan wants to bring chaos in the country because he is not in power. No one will be allowed to take the law into their own hands, he stated.
Meanwhile, all routes to and from Islamabad remain closed from Punjab and its environs. Rangers will also be stationed throughout the province.
